Rahul Gandhi kicks off UP campaign by praying at shrine.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday began his two-day outreach campaign in Uttar Pradesh by praying at sufi saint Haji Waris Ali Shah's shrine here. He was unable to visit the shrine due to busy schedule in 2009.Barabanki MP P L Punia travelled with Rahul throughout his road show here. But Union minister Beni Prasad Verma, who is from Barabanki, was absent.
